Sharing flight replays

After you complete a flight you will be asked to SAVE REPLAY and to SAVE TRACK.   To do so, type a name  in the file box, and it will be assigned a file extension of .rpy for Replay and/or .ftr for flight track.

The files are then saved in the respective folders on your C Drive/ Users/your name/Documents/Condor…. and the respective folders are:

  • Flight Tracks… for .ftr files, or
  • Replays…. for  /.rpy files

It is important to realize there is another folder in your C: drive called “Condor2” and it contains the Executable program files, along with folders that are also labeled Flight Tracks and ReplaysDo NOT manipulate or add to those folders.  Add only to the folders under Users.

If you want to fly along with a friend who has flown a certain flight, you must ask that friend to email the flight track file and the replay file that corresponds to that certain flight.

You then load your friend’s files into the correct  /USER/Docs/Condor folders on your computer.

After you start Condor, select Free Flight, use the same Task, the same Weather, same launching, etc, and when you go to the NOTAM page, select the same start type (Airborne) and the same Airborne height, and  uncheck all boxes in the filter box shown below the Ghosts column, but you will need to select the ghosts.

All flight files that have not been filtered, that is meet your criteria, will then be listed in the Ghost column above, but you must select which flights you wan to fly with before you click on  “Start Flight” at the bottom of this NOTAM page.  Again, be sure to place a check mark next to each recorded flight that you want to fly with on THIS flight.

Good luck and have a safe flight!
